Transfer News

Incoming

There have been many names linked with transfers recently and a few of these players are probably worth discussing further.

We'll take a quick look at deals that could be evolving over the next few days. The André deal seems to be getting there, slowly but surely, although it seems Fluminense are trying to eke out a few extra pounds. Trevor Chalobah was left out of the Chelsea squad for their US tour so it's likely he's not considered part of Chelsea's plans this year and so we can expect Fulham's interest to rev up again. There are a few other names that have been brought up again with interest in Kalvin Phillips, Crysencio Summerville, Semih Kılıçsoy, and Scott McTominay all continuing to be linked with Fulham although it's possible that the re-emergence of these names signals a failure to secure primary targets. Other names such as Alexis Saelemaekers, Mustafa Hekimoğlu, Alex Oxolade-Chamberlain, and James Rodriguez have also popped up in the last few days so it's worth keeping an eye on these stories as they develop over the coming days and weeks.

Outgoing

Recently released, Tyrese Francois has found himself a new home, joining Steven Sessegnon at Wigan after signing a two year deal with the club. Jay Stansfield continues to be linked with a move away from Fulham. Birmingham seem to have the greatest interest in signing Stanno but Hull and Cardiff have both been recently linked with a move. It seems the price tag for Stanno may prove a stumbling block with £10m expected to be the minimum required.

A final rumour that continues to circle is the interest in Andreas Pereira from Chelsea and Tottenham. With no concrete bids coming in, and an expected high price-tag, this one may not have a huge amount of substance.

Pre-Season

Players return to Training

The Fulham squad returned to training this week without those given extended leave after competing at Copa America and the Euros. You can watch the first "Motspur Parklife" below to see the players going through their first few sessions

Fixtures Announced

Fulham will face Sevilla on Monday 5th August (8pm KO local time) at Estadio Algarve as part of their trip to Portugal for pre-season. There are also reports of 3 "behind closed doors" friendlies to be played against QPR, Watford and Wycombe

Fulham 1-1 Real Bedford in first Pre-Season game

FFCW kicked off their pre-season with a good result against Real Bedford, coming away with a 1-1 draw. In a game full of rotation and trialists, coach Steve Jaye had a chance to get minutes into legs and evaluate his squad against a team in the division above. Read the match report here
