Fulham FC Women stormed to an emphatic 7-0 victory over Millwall Lionesses on Sunday, showcasing their growing momentum as they cruised past their opponents with another relentless attacking display. Millwall struggled to cope with Fulham’s incisive wing play, and it didn’t take long for the deadlock to be broken.

Just six minutes in, Sophie Manzi picked up right where she left off from last weekend, tapping in Ellie Olds' delightful cross for Fulham’s opener. The movement, interplay, and clinical finishing from Manzi and Olds perfectly illustrated Fulham's intent to set the tone early in the match.
Millwall did well to hang in the game despite being on the back foot. Ellie Olds and the rest of the Fulham attack continually posed a threat, but Millwall's keeper kept the score from ballooning further with some crucial interventions, notably denying shots from Olds and other Fulham players in the first half.
At halftime, Fulham led 1-0, a slim lead that didn’t reflect the level of control they exerted over the game. However, the second half would provide the floodgates to open.
The second half was an entirely different story. Fulham found another gear, and it was clear Millwall could not handle the barrage of attacks. Ella Tagliavini doubled the score in the 57th minute with a low-driven strike into the back of the net, swiftly followed by more goals that piled on the misery for Millwall.
Sophie Manzi grabbed her second of the day just eight minutes later after a beautiful delivery from Madi Parsonson, once again finding herself in the right place to tap home from close range.
Moments later, Parsonson went from provider to scorer, firing home a stunning effort to make it 4-0. Parsonson then scored again two minutes after, slotting past the helpless Millwall keeper with ease, taking her personal tally to two goals in quick succession.
Georgia Heasman added Fulham’s sixth goal of the day, battling through the defence before finishing coolly. By this point, Fulham were in total control, and the result was beyond doubt.
Fulham continued to press forward, and deep into stoppage time, Belle Taylor-Makepeace found the net to wrap up a spectacular 7-0 win. Her determined attack at the very end of the game capped off a perfect day for Fulham Women.
This match exemplified FFCW's ambition as they remain unbeaten with 13 goals scored and none conceded to start the season. Their teamwork and relentless drive are making a statement to the other sides chasing promotion this year. Sophie Manzi, Madi Parsonson, and Ella Tagliavini were all standout performers, contributing both goals and assists to ensure Fulham walked away with a resounding victory.
Millwall had no answers for Fulham’s intensity, and if this performance is anything to go by, Fulham FC Women are in for a huge season. Fulham's next game is against Ashford United Ladies at Motspur Park on 8th September at 2pm.
